MHz-rate laser absorption spectroscopy for temperature and N2O concentration measurements in laser-induced ADN propellant decomposition

open access: yesApplications in Energy and Combustion Science
In this work, we employed laser absorption spectroscopy (LAS), capable of operating at MHz scan rates, together with high-speed photography to investigate the thermal decomposition of ammonium dinitramide (ADN).

High performance microthruster with ammonium-dinitramide-based monopropellant

open access: yes, 2019

The Electrolysis of Ammonium Dinitramide in Dimethyl Sulfoxide

open access: yesThe Electrolysis of Ammonium Dinitramide in Dimethyl Sulfoxide
This work investigated the electrolysis of ammonium dinitramide (ADN: NH₄N(NO₂)₂) in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). Various fundamental electrolysis properties of ADN were assessed based on an electrochemical study and the associated mechanisms were examined based on a quantum chemical approach.
