Perbandingan Metode Pengeringan Terhadap Resorbsi Amnion Dalam Larutan Simulated Body Fluid (Sbf) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013

Indole‐3‐Propionic Acid Improves Alveolar Development Impairment via Targeting VAMP8‐mediated SNAREs Complex Formation in Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study aims to evaluate the impact of the tryptophan‐derived metabolite indole‐3‐propionic acid (IPA) on lung development and autophagic flux. IPA alleviates hyperoxia‐induced alveolar arrest by promoting autophagosome‐lysosome fusion via inhibition of VAMP8 phosphorylation, which is suggestive of a promising therapeutic target of BPD.

Immunobiology of Acute Chorioamnionitis. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Acute chorioamnionitis is characterized by neutrophilic infiltration and inflammation at the maternal fetal interface. It is a relatively common complication of pregnancy and can have devastating consequences including preterm labor, maternal infections,

Dynamics of the Mammalian Placental Metabolome in Placentogenesis and Embryonic Development

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies three metabolic stages (E8.5, E9.5–10.5, E11.5–14.5) and two transition periods (E8.5–9.5, E10.5–11.5) in mouse placental development. NAD(H) emerges as a key dynamic metabolite that enhances embryonic growth through accelerated segmentation and increased proliferation of mouse embryonic stem cell (mESC)‐induced presomitic ...

Creating neovagina using amnion [PDF]

open access: yesMedical Journal Armed Forces India, 2016
Congenital absence of vagina is a rare developmental abnormality with an occurrence of 1 in 4000–5000 births, and known as Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome characterized by failure of Mullerian ducts to develop, resulting in rudimentary uterine horns and fallopian tubes and absent vagina. Chromosomal constitution is 46XX; their gonads are

In vitro secretion profiles of interleukin (IL)-1beta, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, and TNF alpha after selective infection with Escherichia coli in human fetal membranes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Background Chorioamniotic membranes infection is a pathologic condition in which an abnormal secretion of proinflammatory cytokines halts fetal immune tolerance. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the functional response of human chorioamniotic

SR‐B1‐Mediated Transplacental Transfer of Hydrophobic Toxicants Disrupts Fetal Development During Barriergenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study maps the spatiotemporal distribution of hydrophobic toxicants and endogenous metabolites in the developing placenta and fetus. By integrating mass spectrometry imaging with snRNA‐seq, we identify SR‐B1 as a key transporter driving early‐gestation xenobiotic transfer and reveal a critical exposure window associated with persistent fetal ...

Amnion membrane for coverage of gingival recession: A novel application

open access: yesContemporary Clinical Dentistry, 2014
Introduction: Amnion allograft has been used in the field of medicine for its exceptional wound-modulating properties. However, in the field of dentistry, only a limited number of reports have explored its potential in healing of oral wounds.

Electrospun polycaprolactone (PCL)-amnion nanofibrous membrane prevents adhesions and promotes nerve repair in a rat model of sciatic nerve compression.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
Adhesion and scarring after neural surgery are detrimental to nerve regeneration and functional recovery. Amniotic membranes have been used in tissue repair due to their immunogenicity and richness in cytokines.

Human Primordial Germ Cells Are Specified from Lineage-Primed Progenitors. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In vitro gametogenesis is the process of making germline cells from human pluripotent stem cells. The foundation of this model is the quality of the first progenitors called primordial germ cells (PGCs), which in vivo are specified during the peri ...
