Gender &History, EarlyView.ABSTRACT This article examines the reappearance in the early nineteenth century of anatomical flapbooks in the context of obstetrical education in Britain, America and France. It asks why liftable paper flaps were reintroduced at this time after their disappearance from medical atlases in the eighteenth century.

Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.In this historical pre–post cohort study, the implementation of physiological cardiotocography (PCI) interpretation was associated with reduced neonatal morbidity, neonatal acidosis, and neonatal unit admission. Adjusted cesarean section rates did not increase, supporting PCI as a promising approach to intrapartum fetal surveillance.

Self‐administered tele‐ultrasound in fetal telemonitoring: Prospective study
Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.Pregnant women successfully performed self‐administered fetal tele‐ultrasound at home with real‐time guidance. Scans were feasible, accurate, and highly usable, highlighting tele‐ultrasound's potential to improve accessibility, patient engagement, and support hospital‐at‐home obstetric care.

Home telemonitoring in high‐risk pregnancies: A Finnish retrospective cohort study
Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.This retrospective study suggests that home telemonitoring may provide an acceptable approach for managing selected high‐risk pregnancies. Safe and effective implementation requires careful patient selection and adherence to evidence‐based clinical protocols.

This new interpretation template combined a high sensitivity with a high specificity. Validation on a new material is essential before considering clinical use.
