Review of Domain Wall Dynamics Engineering in Magnetic Microwires
The influence of magnetic anisotropy, post-processing conditions, and defects on the domain wall (DW) dynamics of amorphous and nanocrystalline Fe-, Ni-, and Co-rich microwires with spontaneous and annealing-induced magnetic bistability has been ...

Utilizing a novel (Ni81Fe19/Ti)4/Cu/(Ni81Fe19/Ti)4 thin‐film multilayer with low coercive field, low damping and a superior GMI ratio, a compact, low‐noise unbiased FMR‐driven integrated GMI sensor with a superior magnetic noise performance of ≈100 pT/√Hz is first demonstrated, owing to reduced phase noise from well‐defined aligned magnetic domains and

High frequency magneto impedance in amorphous microwires
We report the novel results on studies of the magneto impedance (MI) effect at GHz-range in 20 μm amorphous glass-coated microwire and 40 μm melt-extracted wire with nearly-zero magnetostriction constant. Both types of wires demonstrated similar behavior although the MI effect is higher in glass-coated microwire.

Preparation of cast glass-coated amorphous magnetic microwires
Technological aspects of the UlitovskyTaylor method for the preparation of glass-coated microwires with different structure of metallic cores are analyzed. The residual stress distributions in microwires of this type determine the domain structures. The

Ultrathin Nanocrystalline Magnetic Wires
The magnetic characteristics of FINEMET type glass-coated nanowires and submicron wires are investigated by taking into account the structural evolution induced by specific annealing all the way from a fully amorphous state to a nanocrystalline structure.
