MRSA‐Triggered Disassembly of an Immune‐Recruiting NIR Probe for Bacterial Imaging and Clearance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bacteria–immune cell‐bridging supramolecular amphiphile, Dman‐C11, undergoes MRSA membrane‐triggered disassembly to activate NIR fluorescence and photodynamic killing, inducing ferroptosis‐like bacterial death and immune‐assisted clearance in wound infection and keratitis models.

Intelligent Polymer Electrolytes for Next‐Generation Zinc‐Based Energy Storage Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intelligent polymer electrolytes are organized into a three‐level hierarchy that advances zinc‐based energy storage from passive ion conduction toward active, adaptive, and intelligent operation. Molecular regulation of Zn+ coordination, water activity, desolvation, ion flux, and interfaces underpins adaptive self‐healing, anti‐freezing, adhesion, and ...

Programmable Budding and Fission of Janus Polymersomes for Tunable Cargo Release

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A thermodynamic framework establishes the conditions for the formation of kinetically stable Janus polymersomes using a solvent‐assisted strategy. Osmotic stress subsequently drives their membrane remodeling from reversible budding to controlled fission.

Electro‐Organic Synthesis at a Stable Oil/Water/Solid Three‐Phase Interface Reactor

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
A porous membrane electrode (PME) reactor is developed to promote oil/water/solid three‐phase interfacial contact for electro‐organic synthesis. By promoting the formation of an oil/water interfacial region within or near an amphiphilic catalytic layer, the reactor enables efficient conversion of water‐insoluble organic reactants in aqueous ...

Locally Competitive Coordination Electrolyte for High‐Voltage Lithium‐Metal Batteries With Ni‐Rich Cathodes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
A locally competitive coordination electrolyte, formulated with a nitrile‐based solvent, dual borate salts, and ether co‐solvents and diluents, concurrently stabilizes Ni‐rich positive and Li‐metal negative electrodes. This design suppresses parasitic reactions while forming an inorganic‐rich SEI, enabling Li‐metal cells to stably cycle under stringent

Expanding the Chemical Space of Analytes in the 2G Crystalline Sponge Method: Size‐Compensation Strategy for the Structural Analysis of Low‐Polarity Small Molecules

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The accessible chemical space of second‐generation crystalline sponges (2G‐CSs) is extended to low‐polarity small molecules via a modulator‐enabled strategy. The key is the size compensation between guest and modulator to achieve a snug fit within the cage cavity.
