Effects of Catecholamines and Purines on Luminescence in the Brittlestar Amphipholis Squamata (Echinodermata) [PDF]
ABSTRACT The effects of catecholamines (dopamine, adrenaline, noradrenaline and its derivatives), 5-hydroxytryptamine and purines (adenosine, ATP and their derivatives) on the acetylcholine-induced luminescence of isolated arms and dissociated photocytes of the luminescent ophiuroid Amphipholis squamata were tested.

Identification of Fine‐Scale Marine Benthic Ecoclines by Multiple Parallel Ordination
The species‐environment relationship is a fundamental structural property of natural ecosystems. Marine sedimentary macrofauna is known to be structured by a range of environmental variables; however, the mechanisms by which environmental variables covary to form complex‐gradients (i.e., groups of intercorrelated environmental variables), and how these

On the fauna of Corallina officinalis L. in western Norway [PDF]
Three localities south of Bergen, one sheltered, one semi-exposed, and one very exposed, were chosen. Samples of Corallina were obtained at various times of the year from the intertidal and sub tidal zones at the two more exposed localities.
