The study is unique in covering how the benthic community has responded to a long‐term fishing closure in one of Europe's largest strictly marine protected areas. We find the recovery of species and strong links to the food web in the response to protection.

O presente estudo descreve com detalhes oito espécies de ofiuróides do Brasil. Foram utilizados caracteres diagnósticos para as famílias Amphiuridae, Ophiactidae e Ophiotrichidae, como análises morfológicas das vértebras, morfometria dos caracteres externos e análises estatísticas, com o objetivo de gerar dados mais precisos.
