[Amphotericin B: the end of an era].
Nederlands tijdschrift voor geneeskunde, 2004For 45 years, amphotericin B has been the drug of choice for the treatment of invasive mycoses. Because of its severe toxicity, lipid-associated formulations of amphotericin B have been developed.
