A wideband electron-bombarded-semiconductor amplifier
1975 International Electron Devices Meeting, 1975The development of a wideband deflection modulated EBS amplifier is described. The device uses an electron beam of rectangular cross section which is modulated by a traveling wave deflector and bombards a pair of reverse biased, silicon diodes to provide a balanced, class A, push-pull output.

Performance of Operational Amplifiers With Electronic Mode Switching
IEEE Transactions on Electronic Computers, 1963The linear-circuit performance equation for an important class of mode-switched operational amplifiers is derived to identify errors caused by finite feedback loop gains, switch resistance, and follower-amplifier source impedance. Errors due to capacitor dielectric absorption, switching spikes, dc leakage, and current limiting are discussed with ...

The electronic negative feedback amplifier
1993This chapter discusses the developments and the use of electronic negative feedback amplifier. The comparison in the developments in telephone and then wireless communication systems illustrates the great significance of Black's recognition that negative feedback has benefits other than simply providing stability.

Noise in free-electron laser amplifier
IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1981The equations of the free-electron laser amplifier are generalized to include higher order modes. The density and velocity fluctuations in the entering electron beam cause noise excitation in the amplifier. The electron beam fluctuations have been studied extensively, both theoretically and experimentally, in traveling wave tubes, and hence the well ...

AN APPLICATION OF ELECTRONIC AMPLIFIER STETHOSCOPE
2012Electronic stethoscopes are one of the important medical devices which affects the self-diagnostic or remote diagnostic in medical area. Rather the general stethoscopes, electronic ones increases the sound amplitude and quality. By filtering ambient noise, they can be used for advance analysis of heart or lung related diseases.

Precision Electronic Switching with Feedback Amplifiers
Proceedings of the IRE, 1956Electronic-switching signal transmission devices have been, until recently, used principally for the simultaneous display of more than one waveform on a cathode ray oscillograph. During the past few years, however, in the field of electronic analog computers, several applications have required the development of electronic switches which have ...
