Frequency and Amplitude Modulation Audiometry
Archives of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, 1958As a member of a committee of the State of South Australia to discover cases of hearing loss in children up to age 16 in the State, I visited the audiology clinic of Professor Henk C. Huizing in The Netherlands. His method of testing babies and young infants was so impressive and simple that a similar apparatus was constructed for the Deafness Guidance

Amplitude modulation of whistlers
Atmospheric and Oceanic Optics, 2014Experimental observations of whistlers carried out in July, 2011, at the Paratunka observatory (53.02° N, 158.65° E; L = 2.3) and coinciding in time with experiments in the scope of the HAARP project (62.30° N, 145.30° W; L = 4.2) made it possible to discover their nonstandard shape, which is most probably caused by amplitude-modulated electromagnetic ...

Quadrature Amplitude Modulation
2019The Quadrature Modulation Scheme (QUAM) uses sine and cosine orthogonality properties to allow the transmission of two different signals in the same carrier, which occupies a bandwidth that is equivalent to the AM signal. The QUAM modulator can be assembled using two DSB-SC modulators.
