Enhancing the capacity of quantum dense coding from correlated amplitude damping channel via non-Hermitian operation

Laser physics, 2023
Using the non-Hermitian operation approach, we propose a scheme to protect and enhance quantum dense coding from correlated amplitude damping (AD) decoherence.

Protecting and enhancing entanglement from correlated amplitude damping channel via non-Hermitian operation

Laser physics, 2021
Using the non-Hermitian operation approach, we propose a scheme to protect and enhance entanglement from correlated amplitude damping decoherence. In contrast to the results of memoryless amplitude damping channel, we show that the memory effects play a ...

Enhancing entanglement of two-qubit states from amplitude damping channel using single-qubit unitary operation and local filtering operation

, 2021
We propose a scheme to enhance entanglement from amplitude damping or correlated amplitude damping decoherence. We show that entanglement sudden death time can be prolonged by the initial single-qubit operation combined with local filtering operation ...

Fidelity of structured amplitude-damping channels

Physica Scripta, 2011
We study the properties of the fidelity of one-qubit operations in amplitude damping channels and reveal their properties as a function of coupling to the photonic crystal environment. We show that there is a direct connection between the information fidelity and the detuning of the atomic frequency from the photonic band gap (PBG).

Simulating BB84 protocol in amplitude damping channel

2010 IEEE International Conference on Information Theory and Information Security, 2010
We adopt the standard BB84 protocol as the basic model of quantum key distribution (QKD) in amplitude damping channel and simulate BB84 QKD protocol on classical computer. The simulation results show that the key rate is higher by using binary reconciliation protocol than using cascade reconciliation protocol when the amplitude damping coefficient γ≤0 ...

Effect of weak measurement reversal on quantum correlations in a correlated amplitude damping channel, with a neural network perspective

Physica Scripta
We study the evolution of quantum correlations in Bell, Werner, and maximally entangled mixed states of two qubits subjected to correlated amplitude-damping channels.

Multipartite correlation degradation in amplitude-damping quantum channels

Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2017
Multipartite correlations, such as entanglement and non-locality, are considered when particles pass through a generalized amplitude-damping channel. Results for pure and mixed states for two qubits suggest that initial mixed states can still be considered provided that their degree of mixture is low enough.

Entanglement-enhanced classical communication through an amplitude-damping channel

Chinese Physics, 2007
We consider the problem of trying to send a single classical bit through an amplitude-damping channel when two transmissions through the channel are available as a resource. It is demonstrated that two entangled transmissions can enhance the receiver's capability of making a correct inference under certain conditions compared with two product-state ...
