Cyclic model for the dg dual of the BV operad [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2023
We describe a new small cyclic operad model QBV for the dg dual operad of the Batalin-Vilkovisky operad. As an application, we show that the Feynman transform of BV is quasi-isomorphic to the amputated Feynman transform of the dg dual, in complementary weights and degrees.

Technical aspects of an impact acceleration traumatic brain injury rat model with potential suitability for both microdialysis and PtiO2 monitoring [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Neuroscience Methods 140, 1-2 (2004) 23-8, 2007
This report describes technical adaptations of a traumatic brain injury (TBI) model-largely inspired by Marmarou-in order to monitor microdialysis data and PtiO2 (brain tissue oxygen) before, during and after injury. We particularly focalize on our model requirements which allows us to re-create some drastic pathological characteristics experienced by ...

Morphology Effect of Puffball Spores on Hemostasis: A Promising Solution for Hemostatic Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents an innovative approach to address current challenges in hemostasis by drawing inspiration from the natural hemostatic material, Puffball spores (Bovistella sp.). Their unique hollow ball‐rod morphology and texture composition enable blood concentration and promote the release of procoagulant factors, while the nano‐protrusions on the
