Two Rare Cases of Appendicitis: Amyand’s Hernia and De Garengeot’s Hernia
An Amyand’s hernia is an inguinal hernia that contains vermiform appendix. De Garengeot’s hernias are similar; however, in this case the appendix is within a femoral hernia. Both types of hernia are rare, and those hernias associated with appendicitis, perforation, or abscess are even scarcer presentations.

The de Garengeot hernia is an uncommon and potentially confounding pathologic process in which the appendix is contained within a femoral hernia. While typically a benign incidental finding, superimposed acute appendicitis is a rare but serious complication.

Introduction. We report the case of an appendiceal carcinoid tumor within an Amyand’s hernia, presenting as an incarcerated right inguinal hernia. Presentation of Case. A 52‐year‐old male presented in the emergency department due to a persistent right inguinal pain. Clinical examination revealed a tender right groin mass.

A Case Report of Inguinal Hernia Sac Lithiasis
We report a case of a stone in inguinal hernia sac. A 41‐year‐old male patient presented to Hakim Hospital in Neyshabur city, Iran, with complaints of pain and swelling in the right abdominal region. After initial evaluations, a diagnosis of right inguinal hernia was made, and the patient was scheduled for hernioplasty.
