Abstract Premise The Chicxulub asteroid impact at the Cretaceous–Paleogene (K–Pg) boundary triggered a mass extinction 66 million years ago. Ferns thrived in the aftermath of the extinction, evidenced by the well‐documented “fern spore spike.” However, fern macrofossil records across the K–Pg boundary are less understood.

In Situ Generation of a Robust Gel Polymer Electrolyte From a Poly(Ethylene Carbonate)‐Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber Containing Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Electrolyte

A gel polymer electrolyte thermoplastic vulcanizate (GPE–TPV) was prepared by blending HNBR and PEC by melt extrusion then thermally decomposing PEC to yield liquid EC. EC is absorbed into the crosslinked HNBR, yielding an electrolyte that is mechanically and electrochemically stable enough to permit cycling in a LiFePO4–Li half‐cell.

Macroscopic, Histological and Ultrastructural Features of the Tongue of the Anatolian Wild Boar (Sus scrofa libycus)

Integrated macroscopic, histological, and ultrastructural analyses revealed five distinct lingual papillae types (filiform, fungiform, conical, foliate, and vallate) in the Anatolian wild boar (Sus scrofa libycus). Mechanical papillae showed marked structural specialization, while gustatory papillae exhibited region‐specific distribution of taste buds.
