GaAs HBT's for analog circuits
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1993Silicon bipolar integrated circuit (IC) technology has dominated the analog IC world for over two decades. As the push for wider bandwidths with higher precision continues, the emergence of GaAs HBT technology is destined to challenge silicon bipolar's domination at the high end of the analog market.

Synthesis of analog CMOS circuits
Proceedings Tenth International Conference on VLSI Design, 2002In this paper we describe an efficient method for transistor sizing in cell level analog circuits. An equation based method is used. SPICE quality device models are used and the sizing problem is posed as an optimisation problem. KCL, KVL and matching constraints are taken in to account in the formulation of the optimisation problem without explicitly ...

Automated diagnosis of analog circuits
Proceedings of the 2nd international conference on Industrial and engineering applications of artificial intelligence and expert systems - Volume 1, 1989While a number of different approaches have been proposed to automatically troubleshoot electronic systems given schematic information, few are sufficiently powerful to tackle the complexity of analog circuits at the resistor/transistor level. This paper describes work which applies quantitative model-based reasoning techniques to this problem.

Integrated-Circuit Analog Multiplexer
IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 1970An analog multiplexer which allows several data channels to share the available bandwidth of one channel of an analog tape recorder is described. The method involves demodulation by correlating with a separately recorded carrier. Inexpensive integrated circuits are the only active elements.

Analog circuit observer blocks
Proceedings of IEEE VLSI Test Symposium, 1997Analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) are rapidly becoming more complex. In addition to the traditional problems associated with testing ICs, such as limited controllability and observability, analog and mixed-signal test is vulnerable to measurement induced errors.

Fault diagnosis of analog circuits
Proceedings of the IEEE, 1985In this paper, various fault location techniques in analog networks are described and compared. The emphasis is on the more recent developments in the subject. Four main approaches for fault location are addressed, examined, and illustrated using simple network examples.

ON THE SUSCEPTIBILITY OF ANALOG CIRCUIT TO EMI
2006This chapter deals with the effect of electromagnetic interference on the operation of analog front-end like operational amplifier and switched capacitor circuits. In particular, the offset, which is generated in the input differential stage of an operational amplifier is evaluated by an analytical model and a new circuit topology immune to RFI is ...
