Method to convert analog filters to digital filters
2013 8th International Symposium on Image and Signal Processing and Analysis (ISPA), 2013The analog filters are usually converted to IIR digital filters using appropriate transformation of system function from s-domain to z-domain. Recently another approach of converting an analog filter described by a diagram or a netlist to a digital filter has been proposed.

Analog Integrated Filter Compilation
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 1993A review of the progress in automated design of analog integrated filters is presented. Such tools are ahead of other analog circuit automation in terms of the acceptance by designers and practical applicability. A survey of the present-day commercial and academic systems is made and the range of facilities available is compared.

Advances on Analog Filters for Telecommunications
2006 Advanced Signal Processing, Circuit and System Design Techniques for Communications, 2006The wireless networks popularity rapidly requires a significant effort on low-power low-cost, and highly integrated RF ICs, where the power consumption reduction of the transceiver and of each block becomes of fundamental importance. Analog base-band continuous-time filters embedded in the receiver path are here addressed with three examples. The first

A parallel analog median filter
1998 IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems. Surfing the Waves of Science and Technology (Cat. No.98EX196), 2002A continuous-time analog median filter implementation is presented. The filter uses two new circuits to implement the delay line and median blocks. Both circuits were designed a compact and modular structure to allow implementation of array processors. In addition, a novel technique for image processing is presented.

Analog Complex Wavelet Filters
2005 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems, 2005This paper presents an analog implementation of the complex wavelet transform using both the complex first order system (CFOS) and the Pade approximation. The complex wavelet filter design is based on the combination of the real and the imaginary state-space descriptions that implement the respective transfer functions. In other words, a complex filter

This paper reviews the design of analog filters at low supply voltage. In particular, the main focus is on switched capacitor and g/sub m/-C type filters because, at the present time, they have the greatest commercial importance. SC implementations are discussed in the context of low frequency high precision applications while g/sub m/-C ...

This paper proposes a systematic approach for the design of a general class of analog infinite-impulse-response (IIR) filters, which includes all well-known classical analog filters as a special case. All specifications including the conventional ones and also filter flatness degrees are explicitly incorporated into design process.

Discrete Analogs for Continuous Filters
Journal of the ACM, 1966A substitution rule for obtaining discrete analogs for continuous filters is given. Transient responses of filters related by the rule are in exact agreement. Steady-state responses are in close agreement.

The main task in rank filtering and many other nonlinear filtering operations is sorting. In this work, a nonlinear dynamical system for this operation is proposed. The sorting problem is embedded in a higher dimensional matrix-valued problem. An equivalent analog circuit consists of basic building blocks like adders, multipliers, and integrators which
