This paper reviews the design of analog filters at low supply voltage. In particular, the main focus is on switched capacitor and g/sub m/-C type filters because, at the present time, they have the greatest commercial importance. SC implementations are discussed in the context of low frequency high precision applications while g/sub m/-C ...

Analog Integrated Filter Compilation
Analog Integrated Circuits and Signal Processing, 1993A review of the progress in automated design of analog integrated filters is presented. Such tools are ahead of other analog circuit automation in terms of the acceptance by designers and practical applicability. A survey of the present-day commercial and academic systems is made and the range of facilities available is compared.

The basic nonlinear operation in median filtering is a sorting of the input data vector. An analog structure for this filtering operation is presented. The sorting operation is embedded in a matrix-valued ordinary differential equation (ODE). The data to be sorted serve as initial values for the ODE.

The main task in rank filtering and many other nonlinear filtering operations is sorting. In this work, a nonlinear dynamical system for this operation is proposed. The sorting problem is embedded in a higher dimensional matrix-valued problem. An equivalent analog circuit consists of basic building blocks like adders, multipliers, and integrators which

Electronic filters are used in every biomagnetic measurement, whether intentionally or not. The inherent limitations of field sensors and amplifiers impose an upper limit on the frequency of their output signal, and in some cases a lower limit as well.
