A proposed method for noise determination in mixed analog-digital video transmission systems.
アナログ・ディジタル縦続接続系における雑音の品質劣化配分方法について検討した.伝送品質の規定方法に関する一般的な考え方を示すとともに, ディジタル系としてフレーム内DPCM系を想定した場合について具体的に検討した.まず, 粒子性雑音の品質規定について検討し, 物理測度を定義した.次に, ランダム雑音との類似性に関し, 見え方の違い, 視感度の差について定量的に検討した.その結果, 粒子性雑音に対し, 約5dBの視感度補正を施すことにより, 等価的にランダム雑音に換算できることが明らかになり, したがって, アナログ・ディジタル縦続接続系に対しても, 従来のアナログ系に対する電力和相加則がそのまま適用可能であることがわかった.
