An ANN-Based Approach to the Modelling and Simulation of Analogue Circuits
International Conference on Synthesis, Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Methods and Applications to Circuit Design, 2023This paper explores the automatic creation of behavioural models of analogue circuits from simulation data. Artificial neural networks (ANNs) are used to model the circuit, speeding up the simulations and providing residual error results when compared ...

An incipient fault diagnosis method based on Att-GCN for analogue circuits
Measurement science and technology, 2022Incipient faults for analogue circuits in modern electronic systems are difficult to diagnose due to poor fault features. To address this issue, a method based on the attention weighted graph convolution network (Att-GCN) is proposed in this paper.

A Simulation Study of Analogue and Logic Circuits with CNTFETs
In this paper we have implemented the semi-empirical compact model for CNTFETs already proposed by us to simulate typical analogue circuits and logic blocks both in SPICE, using ABM library, and in Verilog-A. The obtained results have been the same in static simulations and comparable in dynamic simulations.

Intuitive analogue circuit design [PDF]
This paper is concerned with ideas and methods for a teaching approach that has been developed to provide insight into and aid creativity in the process of analogue circuit design. This approach is modelled on the way the authors see circuit designers acting as cognitive agents, namely qualitatively, intuitively, abstractly and in a knowledge rich and ...

Automatic sizing of CMOS-based analogue circuits using Cuckoo search algorithm
International Journal of Intelligent Systems Technologies and Applications, 2020The increasing complexity of physical models of MOSFET and process variations with downscaling of CMOS technology have made the manual design of analogue circuits challenging and time-consuming.

Robust locally linear embedding and its application in analogue circuit fault diagnosis
Measurement science and technology, 2023During long-term operation of analogue circuits, fault diagnosis is important for preventing the occurrence of hazards. However, noise often accompanies sampled signals and makes the task of fault diagnosis more difficult.

Diagnosability analysis of analogue circuits
International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, 1998If a circuit has been found to be faulty during design characterization before it is in high volume production, it may be useful to diagnose the cause of the failure. If faults are identified and located, a circuit can then be redesigned to be less sensitive to common failure mechanisms.

GaAs monolithic analogue circuits
1979 International Electron Devices Meeting, 1979The desirability for multi-channel RF systems has given tremendous impetus to the fabrication of small physical volume, low cost receiver modules. The obvious approach to this requirement is to produce the circuitry monolithically. Circuit design and fabrication techniques are currently being developed to enable such circuits to be realised.

Low-power sample and hold circuits using current conveyor analogue switches
IET Circuits Devices Syst., 2018This study presents low-power sample and hold (S/H) circuits using second-generation current conveyor (CCII). Unlike previous S/H circuits, switch of the proposed S/H circuits can be obtained using CCII which works as current conveyor analogue switch ...
