On convergence in G_Q metric spaces

open access: yesDera Natung Government College Research Journal
This paper reviews some basic aspects and proposes and explores the idea of convergence for triple sequences in G_Q-metric space. Furthermore, a thorough analysis and definition of statistical convergence in this context are provided.

A Study on the Applying Concept of Metric Weighting to Space Syntax

open access: yesJournal of Asian Architecture and Building Engineering, 2017
This study is based on the assumption that there is a problem in the existing approach of introducing and applying the concept of metric weighting to space syntax.

MORPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF CELLS BY MEANS OF AN ELASTIC METRIC IN THE SHAPE SPACE

open access: yesImage Analysis & Stereology, 2020
Shape analysis is of great importance in many fields, such as computer vision, medical imaging, and computational biology. This analysis can be performed considering shapes as closed planar curves in the shape space. This approach has been used for the first time to obtain the morphological classification of erythrocytes in digital images of sickle ...

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Application Possibilities of Orthophoto Data Based on Spectral Fractal Structure Containing Boundary Conditions

open access: yesRemote Sensing
The self-similar structure-based analysis of digital images offers many new practical possibilities. The fractal dimension is one of the most frequently measured parameters if we want to use image data in measurable analyses in metric spaces. In practice,

ADAPTIVE EXTRA-PROXIMAL ALGORITHM FOR EQUILIBRIUM PROBLEMS IN HADAMARD SPACES

open access: yesМіжнародний науково-технічний журнал "Проблеми керування та інформатики", 2020
One of the most popular areas of modern applied nonlinear analysis is the study of equilibrium problems (Ky Fan inequalities, equilibrium programming problems).

Analysis on Metric Space Q

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper, we show that the metric space Q is a positively-curved space (PC-space) in the sense of Alexandrov. We also discuss some issues like metric tangent cone and exponential map of Q. Then we give a stratification of this metric space according to the signature of points in Q. Some properties of this stratification are shown.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

On Statistical Convergence of Order α in Partial Cone Metric Spaces

open access: yesMathematics
The importance of sequence spaces has increased with the emergence of various new convergence methods such as statistical convergence. On the other hand, partial metric spaces hold an important place in computer science, data science, and convergence ...
