Lower bounds in communication complexity and learning theory via analytic methods
textA central goal of theoretical computer science is to characterize the limits of efficient computation in a variety of models. We pursue this research objective in the contexts of communication complexity and computational learning theory.

We introduce a capillary‐filtering‐based particle‐filling (CFPF) process that simultaneously forms vertical thermal pathways and electrical vias within µ‐pores. In situ microfluidic analysis reveals that capillary‐driven velocity gradients generate vorticity that governs µ‐platelet rotation and vertical alignment.

Twin Crystal Moiré Metasurfaces for Crossing Flat‐Band Transport
This study introduces twin crystal moiré metasurfaces, breaking in‐plane symmetry to enable reconfigurable acoustic wave manipulation. By adjusting the twin angle and interlayer twist angle, various combinations of hyperbolic, flat bands, and elliptic states can be synthesized in the system.

Long transient oscillations in a class of cooperative cellular neural networks
The real-time processing capabilities of cellular neural networks (CNNs) are inherently related to the fast convergence time of the solutions toward the asymptotically stable equilibrium points.

This work presents a programmable atomic engineering strategy for 2D materials using Å‐scale nanoreactors formed by bilayer graphene (BLG) intercalation. A new class of alkali‐iron‐chloride compounds, along with lateral heterostructures composed of monolayer alkali halides and iron chlorides, is revealed.

A Contemporary Study in the Theory of Traveling-Wave Tubes [PDF]
The traveling-wave tube (TWT) is a widely used amplifier in satellite communications and radar. An electromagnetic signal is fed into one end of the device and is amplified over a distance until it is extracted downstream at the output.

Influence of the tank circuit on the low frequency impedance of an rf-biased R-SQUID
The dc ‐impedance of an rf‐biased R‐SQUID is studied analytically for the nonhysteretic regime. A mathematical analysis of the intrinsic behavior of an R‐SQUID, including the mutual interaction between the tank circuit and the SQUID loop, is presented ...

A reconfigurable RRAM platform utilizing thermally pre‐formed filaments (TPFs) is developed to realize robust hardware security. By exploiting the thermodynamic stochasticity of TPFs, exceptionally reliable physically unclonable functions (PUFs) are achieved.

Bandgap‐engineered AlGaAs/GaAs heterostructures exhibit wavelength‐selective dual‐polarity photoelectrochemistry, switching from photocathodic to photoanodic response depending on excitation wavelength. The polarity transition is governed by band‐selective absorption, built‐in electric‐field‐driven carrier transport, and interfacial charge‐transfer ...
