Black holes in Klein space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
The analytic continuation of the general signature (1, 3) Lorentzian Kerr-Taub-NUT black holes to signature (2, 2) Kleinian black holes is studied.

Holomorphic Continuation of Functions Along a Fixed Direction (Survey)

open access: yesСовременная математика: Фундаментальные направления, 2022
In this article, we give an overview of the most significant and important results on holomorphic extensions of functions along a fixed direction. We discuss the following geometric questions of multidimensional complex analysis: • holomorphic extension ...

Sustained Therapeutic Efficacy of Intravenous Plasminogen Concentrate in Pediatric Patients With Type 1 Plasminogen Deficiency: An Analysis of Dosing Parameters and Clinical Outcomes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Analytic continuation of better-behaved GKZ systems and Fourier-Mukai transforms [PDF]

open access: yesÉpijournal de Géométrie Algébrique
We study the relationship between solutions to better-behaved GKZ hypergeometric systems near different large radius limit points, and their geometric counterparts given by the $K$-groups of the associated toric Deligne-Mumford stacks. We prove that the $

Rational Use of Herbal Products in Pediatric Patients Treated With Anticancer Drugs in the European Union

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction The use of herbal medical preparation (HMP) is rising among pediatric oncology patients, often to manage treatment‐related symptoms. Their effectiveness remains uncertain, and the risk of herb–drug interactions is underestimated.

Analytic continuation as a bridge between continuum and bound states

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
The problem of obtaining characteristics of bound nuclear states from continuum states data is discussed. It is shown that the ambiguities due to the existence of phase-equivalent potentials can be resolved by using the analytic properties of scattering ...

Lattice QCD at finite baryon density using analytic continuation

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2018
We simulate lattice QCD with two flavors of Wilson fermions at imaginary baryon chemical potential. Results for the baryon number density computed in the confining and deconfining phases at imaginary baryon chemical potential are used to determine the ...

New series representations for the two-loop massive sunset diagram

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
We derive new convergent series representations for the two-loop sunset diagram with three different propagator masses $$m_1,\, m_2$$ m1,m2 and $$m_3$$ m3 and external momentum p by techniques of analytic continuation on a well-known triple series that ...

Improved Early Referral in Long‐Term Survivor Care With Institutional Standardized Practice Among Childhood Leukemia Survivors#

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In 2018, the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center Leukemia Program implemented a practice standard to support the transition from treatment to survivorship that includes shared, alternating care between leukemia and survivorship clinicians and a reminder to refer survivors to the long‐term survivor clinic (LTSC) 2 years after ...

Personalized Zebrafish Models for Fusion‐Positive Pediatric Sarcomas

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Clinical sequencing efforts have revolutionized our approaches to categorizing pediatric cancers in real time. This has dramatically improved our ability to profile pediatric tumors, identify actionable vulnerabilities, and influence clinical care.
