On nonisomorphic analytic sets [PDF]
It is shown that if A is an analytic subset of I, the unit interval, such that I A is uncountable and does not contain a perfect set, then A is not Borel isomorphic to I x A or to A', n > 1, or to U, where U is a universal analytic subset of J2. It is also shown that U is not isomorphic to IxA or toA', n > 1.

This paper investigates the second language (L2) acquisition of the Turkish category Ad tamlaması (AT). AT consists an umbrella term which is encountered in Turkish grammars and L2-Turkish coursebooks to refer to three forms of Nominal Syntagmatic Sets ...

A First Assessment of a Regression-Based Interpretation of Langmuir Probe Measurements
A new approach is presented for interpreting low level Langmuir probe measurements in terms of physical plasma parameters such as density or temperature. Instead of relying on analytic expressions as in most analyses, the method uses regressions combined

On Analytic Diameters and Analytic Centers of Compact Sets [PDF]
In this paper several results on analytic diameters and analytic centers are obtained. We show that the extremal function for analytic diameter is unique and that there exist compact sets with many analytic centers. We answer negatively several problems posed by F. Miinsker.

On discrete universality of composite functions
In 1975, S.M. Voronin proved that the Riemann zeta-function ζ (s) is universal in the sense that its shifts approximate uniformly on some sets any analytic function. Let h be a fixed positive number such that exp is irrational for all .

Packing-Dimension Profiles and Fractional Brownian Motion [PDF]
In order to compute the packing dimension of orthogonal projections Falconer and Howroyd (1997) introduced a family of packing dimension profiles ${\rm Dim}_s$ that are parametrized by real numbers $s>0$.

Extension sets for real analytic functions and applications to Radon transforms
The real analytic character of a function f(x,y) is determined from its behavior along radial directions fθ(s)=f(scosθ,ssinθ) for θ∈E, where E is a small set. A support theorem for Radon transforms in the plane is proved. In particular if fθ extends to

Wiman's type inequality for analytic and entire functions and $h$-measure of an exceptional sets
Let $\mathcal{E}_R$ be the class of analytic functions $f$ represented by power series of the form $f(z)=\sum\limits\limits_{n=0}^{+\infty}a_n z^n$ with the radius of convergence $R:=R(f)\in(0;+\infty].$ For $r\in [0, R)$ we denote the maximum modulus by

Sustainable material selection using complex type 2 intuitionistic fuzzy analytic hierarchy process [PDF]
Sustainable material selection has become a crucial challenge in the construction industry due to increasing environmental concerns, resource limitations, and the demand for long-term ecological balance.
