Determine cable dynamic parameters from vibration measurement results
Structural health monitoring is a particularly important issue for cable-stayed bridges. The main components of a cable-stayed bridge include the main girder, tower, and stay cables.

Solid mineral potential evaluation using integrated aeromagnetic and aeroradiometric datasets
The analytical hierarchy process (AHP) was employed to delineate the mineralisation potential across the notable schist belts in northwestern Nigeria. High-resolution aeromagnetic and aeroradiometric datasets were taken into consideration.

An electromagnetic signal that has passed through a layer of ionospheric irregularities can undergo significant modifications. The Power Spectral Density (PSD) of such a signal can then be rich in information about the medium through which it has passed.

Multidimensional Analytic Signals and the Bedrosian Identity [PDF]
The analytic signal method via the Hilbert transform is a key tool in signal analysis and processing, especially in the time-frquency analysis. Imaging and other applications to multidimensional signals call for extension of the method to higher dimensions.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Diffusion phase-imaging in anisotropic media using non-linear gradients for diffusion encoding
Diffusion MRI classically uses gradient fields that vary linearly in space to encode the diffusion of water molecules in the signal magnitude by tempering its intensity.
