A Time-Domain Analytic Solution of Flow-Induced Undular Bores

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2022
In this study, the problem of surface waves induced by water flow in a flow channel was investigated. The mathematical model based on the potential wave theory was established, and a new analytic solution to the corresponding initial and boundary value ...

Analytic solution of the Feldtkeller equation

open access: yesAEU - International Journal of Electronics and Communications, 2009
Abstract In every reflectance-based application like broadband matching, circuit modeling, etc., a nonlinear equation following from energy conservation, the Feldtkeller equation, must be solved, in order to obtain real networks. In the literature, however, there is no analytic solution available but only numerical solutions.

Implicit Analytic Solution of Michaelis-Menten-Monod Kinetics. [PDF]

open access: yesACS Omega, 2016
An analytic solution to enzyme kinetics expressed by the Michaelis–Menten–Monod mathematical framework is presented. The analytic solution describes the implicit problem with the independent variable, normally time, substituted with the concentration of ...

Finding the one-loop soliton solution of the short-pulse equation by means of the homotopy analysis method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The homotopy analysis method is applied to the short-pulse equation in order to find an analytic approximation to the known exact solitary upright-loop solution. It is demonstrated that the approximate solution agrees well with the exact solution.

Analytic Solution for a Complex Network of Chaotic Oscillators. [PDF]

open access: yesEntropy (Basel), 2018
Chaotic evolution is generally too irregular to be captured in an analytic solution. Nonetheless, some dynamical systems do have such solutions enabling more rigorous analysis than can be achieved with numerical solutions.

A Multi-parametric Programming Based Analytic Method to Compute Consumer Offer Curve for Reserves

open access: yesJournal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy, 2022
An analytic method is proposed to compute the price-reserve offer curve at the consumer level in hierarchical direct load control. The convexification of the consumer reserve provision is examined, and the analytic expression of the optimal solution ...

New Series Solution of the Caputo Fractional Ambartsumian Delay Differential Equationation by Mittag-Leffler Functions

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
The fractional generalization of the Ambartsumian delay equation with Caputo’s fractional derivative is considered. The Ambartsumian delay equation is very difficult to be solved neither in the case of ordinary derivatives nor in the case of fractional ...

Can Analytic Theology be Phenomenological?

open access: yes, 2022
The present essay is concerned with the question of whether analytic theology can be properly phenomenological. Both analytic theology and phenomenology are defined by reference to leading practitioners of both, and responses are given to objections to ...

Analytical Solution of the Three-Dimensional Laplace Equation in Terms of Linear Combinations of Hypergeometric Functions

open access: yesMathematics, 2021
We present some solutions of the three-dimensional Laplace equation in terms of linear combinations of generalized hyperogeometric functions in prolate elliptic geometry, which simulates the current tokamak shapes. Such solutions are valid for particular
