Analytic Solutions of Systems

Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems, 2002
The authors present functional series solutions to a nonlinear analytical system for the unknown state variable, and functional series solutions to analytic infinite-dimensional linear systems. Both systems are solved by the SWSE (Summing weighted sequential error) method.

Coulomb expansion: Analytical solutions

Physical Review E, 2013
Exact and approximate analytical solutions are presented, describing expansion of a cloud of charged particles in one, two, and three dimensions (assuming the planar, axial, and spherical symmetries, respectively). The expansion occurs in a gas or dilute plasma, where the screening is unimportant, so that particles interact with each other via Coulomb ...

Analytical Methods Of Solution

1969
The theory developed in the previous chapters shows that the study of the linearized Boltzmann equation is a worthwhile undertaking and that many of the features of its solutions can be retained by using model equations. We can say more, that practically all the features are retained by a properly chosen model.

Analytical Planetary solution VSOP2000

Celestial Mechanics and Dynamical Astronomy, 2001
The analytical planetary solution VSOP2000 determines the planetary perturbations with the help of an iterative method from a solution developed till the third order of the disturbing masses. This solution is from 10 to 100 times more precise than the previous analytical solutions VSOP82 and VSOP87, at the level of some 0.1 mas for Mercury, Venus and ...

A PaaS for composite analytics solutions

Proceedings of the 12th ACM International Conference on Computing Frontiers, 2015
In their pursuit of market competitiveness and sustainable top line growth, enterprises are increasingly turning to sophisticated analytics solutions to derive insights and value from the deluge of data that are being generated from all sources. Leading practitioners of Big Data analytics have already moved past the stage of using single analytics ...

Analytic solutions for multiple motions

Proceedings 2001 International Conference on Image Processing (Cat. No.01CH37205), 2002
A novel framework for single and multiple motion estimation is presented. It is based on a generalized structure tensor that contains blurred products of directional derivatives. The order of differentiation increases with the number of motions but more general linear filters can be used instead of derivatives.

Analytical Solution of the Logistic Equation

International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 1997
An analytical solution for the well-known quadratic recursion, also known as the logistic map, is presented. Our derivation makes use of the analogy between this equation and Galton–Watson processes. The latter can be treated in a linear way using the transfer matrix technique. The solution is represented as a power of an appropriate transfer matrix.

Analytic solution of a chaotic inflaton

Physical Review D, 1989
We directly solve the Langevin equation of motion for a scalar field in theslow-roll limit for a lambda/phi//sup 4//4 potential. The probabilitydistribution for the inflaton and several moments of the distribution are alsocalculated. An upper bound to the percentage deviation of the mean of thedistribution from the classical value is also derived.
