Analytically approximate solutions to higher derivative gravity [PDF]
We obtain analytical approximate black hole solutions for higher derivative gravity in the presence of Maxwell electromagnetic source. We construct near horizon and asymptotic solutions and then use these to obtain an approximate analytic solution using a continued fraction method to get a complete solution.

Analytical Approximate Solutions of Nonlinear Fractional-Order Nonhomogeneous Differential Equations
Computational simulation of natural phenomenon is currently attracting increasing interest in applied mathematics and computational physics. Mathematical software for simulation is limited by the availability, speed, and parallelism of high-performance ...

Analytic Approximate Solution for Falkner-Skan Equation [PDF]
This paper deals with the Falkner-Skan nonlinear differential equation. An analytic approximate technique, namely, optimal homotopy asymptotic method (OHAM), is employed to propose a procedure to solve a boundary-layer problem. Our method does not depend upon small parameters and provides us with a convenient way to optimally control the convergence of

Analytical solution approximation for bearing [PDF]
The purpose of lubrication is to separate two surfaces sliding past each other with a film of some material which can be sheared without causing any damage to the surfaces. Reynolds equation is a basic equation for fluid lubrication which is applied in the bearing problem. This equation can be derived from Navier-Stokes equation and continuity equation.

New approximate analytical technique for the solution of time fractional fluid flow models
In this note, we broaden the utilization of an efficient computational scheme called the approximate analytical method to obtain the solutions of fractional-order Navier–Stokes model.

An Analytic Approximate Solution of the SIR Model
The SIR(D) epidemiological model is defined through a system of transcendental equations, not solvable by elementary functions. In the present paper those equations are successfully replaced by approximate ones, whose solutions are given explicitly in terms of elementary functions, originating, piece-wisely, from generalized logistic functions: they ...

Approximate solutions for the skyrmion [PDF]
We reconsider the Euler-Lagrange equation for the Skyrme model in the hedgehog ansatz and study the analytical properties of the solitonic solution. In view of the lack of a closed form solution to the problem, we work on approximate analytical solutions.
