Dietary Protein Intake and Peritoneal Protein Losses in Peritoneal Dialysis Patients
ABSTRACT Introduction Peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients lose protein in their waste dialysate, potentially increasing their risk for malnutrition. We wished to determine whether there was any association between losses and dietary protein intake (DPI). Methods DPI was assessed from 24‐h dietary recall using Nutrics software.

Stress and Deformation Analysis of Buried Gas Pipelines Subjected to Buoyancy in Liquefaction Zones
Buried pipelines are the main means of long distance transportation of natural gas. These pipelines are in high risk crossing liquefaction areas due to large deformations and stresses that may exist in pipe induced by the buoyancy load.

A rigorous analytical method for doubly periodic cylindrical inclusions under longitudinal shear and its application [PDF]
An infinite elastic solid containing a doubly periodic parallelogrammic array of cylindrical inclusions under longitudinal shear is studied. A rigorous and effective analytical method for exact solution is developed by using Eshelby's equivalent ...
