Analytical and Numerical Solutions for the Thermal Problem in a Friction Clutch System

open access: yesComputation, 2021
The dry friction clutch is an important part in vehicles, which has more than one function, but the most important function is to connect and disconnect the engine (driving part) with driven parts.

Analytical solution for the structure of ADAFs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The standard Advection-Dominated Accretion Flow (ADAF) is studied using a set of self-similar analytical solutions in the spherical coordinates. Our new solutions are useful for studying ADAFs without dealing with the usual mathematical complexity.

Analytical solution of the dynamical spherical MIT bag [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We prove that when the bag surface is allowed to move radially, the equations of motion derived from the MIT bag Lagrangian with massless quarks and a spherical boundary admit only one solution, which corresponds to a bag expanding at the speed of light.

Elliptic General Analytic Solutions [PDF]

open access: yesStudies in Applied Mathematics, 2009
To find analytically the traveling waves of partially integrable autonomous nonlinear partial differential equations, many methods have been proposed over the ages: “projective Riccati method,”“tanh‐method,”“exponential method,”“Jacobi expansion method,”“new … ,” etc.

Analytical Solution for facilitated transport across a membrane [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
An analytical expression for the facilitation factor of component A across a liquid membrane is derived in case of an instantaneous reaction A(g)+B(l)AB(l) inside the liquid membrane.

Removal of a Single-Component NAPL under Nonequilibrium Condition: a Zero Mass Flux Moving Boundary [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2014
A new zero flux moving boundary conditions to solve the non-equilibrium single-component dispersion-advection transport problem containing NAPL have been introduced.

Analytic solution of Bremsstrahlung TBA [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2012
We consider the quark--anti-quark potential on the three sphere or the generalized cusp anomalous dimension in planar N=4 SYM. We concentrate on the vacuum potential in the near BPS limit with $L$ units of R-charge. Equivalently, we study the anomalous dimension of a super-Wilson loop with L local fields inserted at a cusp. The system is described by a

Analytical solution of a model for complex food webs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
We investigate numerically and analytically a recently proposed model for food webs [Nature {\bf 404}, 180 (2000)] in the limit of large web sizes and sparse interaction matrices.
