Local Adaptation May Help Mitigate Feminisation of Sea Turtle Populations Globally. [PDF]
Glob Chang BiolWe evaluate whether sea turtles have the capacity to adapt to warming temperatures through local adaptations of the pivotal temperature at which they produce a balanced amount of male and female hatchlings. We show that at warmer sites, lower proportions of female hatchlings are produced than expected.

Many patients who were diagnosed as polycystic ovary syndrome‐ (PCOS‐) related acne were not capable of sustaining or beginning oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) due to pill scaring, contraindications of OCP use, migraine, or smoking. In this situation, oral isotretinoin treatment may become an important option for PCOS‐related acne.

From refugia to contact: Pine processionary moth hybrid zone in a complex biogeographic setting. [PDF]
Ecol Evol, 2020 In this study, we show evidences of natural hybridization between two pine processionary moth species in Turkey by using mitochondrial and nuclear markers. We found asymmetric hybridization in a limited zone and tried to explain how the complex geographic history of the region might contribute to the observed genetic pattern.
