Bovine Fetal Response to Anaplasma marginale
American Journal of Veterinary Research, 1971SUMMARY Blood contaning 70% erythrocytes infected with Anaplasma marginale was inoculated into a 100-day-old bovine fetus in utero. At 41 days after inoculation, the fetus was removed from the cow by cesarean section. The fetal serum reacted positively (4+) to the complement-fixation test.
