Enhanced Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction Performance by External Electric Field‐Driven Charge Separation on Interdigitated Micro‐Spacing Structure

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An external electric field‐enhanced photocatalytic system is developed using interdigitated electrodes with 100 µm spacing to overcome the liquid‐phase limitations of traditional PEC. The induced high‐intensity electric field effectively drives the directional migration of charge carriers under low voltage. This strategy significantly suppresses charge

Pseudorutile-leucoxene-quartz ores of Timan ‒ a new genetic type of titanium raw materials: prospects for industrial development

open access: yesGeoresursy
The two largest deposits of Russia – Yaregskoye and Pizhemskoye belong to the same genetic type; hydrothermal-metamorphic indigenous deposits. They are located in the same Timan structure at a distance of no more than 230 km from each other. According to

High‐Brightness, Wide‐Gamut, and High‐Resolution Structural Colors via Ultrafast Laser Oxidation of Ti/TiO2 Films

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Ultrafast laser writing on titanium (Ti)–titanium dioxide (TiO2)–Ti sandwich films triggers controllable oxidation (〉200 nm) to create vivid, durable structural colors. The colors reach 〉 80% of the standard RGB (sRGB) gamut, up to 60% peak reflectance, and 30,000 dots per inch (DPI) resolution for art and anti‐counterfeiting.

Synthesis of Group IVB Metals Oxicarbides by Carboreduction Reactions

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2002
The metals of the group IV B (Ti, Zr, Hf) present a series of carbides and oxicarbides with scientific and technological interest. Many of these compounds belong to the subsystem "MO - MC" of the pseudoternary "MO - MN - MC" system (where M = Ti, Zr or ...

The role of the host—Neutrophil biology

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView., 2023
Abstract Neutrophilic polymorphonuclear leukocytes (neutrophils) are myeloid cells packed with lysosomal granules (hence also called granulocytes) that contain a formidable antimicrobial arsenal. They are terminally differentiated cells that play a critical role in acute and chronic inflammation, as well as in the resolution of inflammation and wound ...
