In this study, computed tomography was employed to assess the morphometry of the pituitary gland and sella turcica in Hamdani sheep. Analysis demonstrated distinct sexual dimorphism, with males exhibiting significantly higher values across all volumetric and osteometric parameters.

The prevalence of FPTI in this study was similar to reports internationally. This research shows that there were both modifiable and non‐modifiable significant risk factors for FPTI in Türkiye dairy herds, specifically colostrum feeding method and season of birth and herd size, dam parity and calf breed.
