Quantifying the predation impact of an expanding mesocarnivore on declining small‐game species

Associations among MHC genes, latitude, and avian malaria infections in the rufous‐collared sparrow (Zonotrichia capensis)

We investigated MHC gene associations with Plasmodium and Haemoproteus infections in South American rufous‐collared sparrows across a latitudinal gradient, finding non‐linear associations between MHC‐II diversity and latitude, with individuals from north Chile exhibiting lower genetic diversity.
