Observation of the compatibility of stimulated Raman histology with pathology workflow and genome sequencing

open access: yesTranslational Biophotonics, 2021
We show that human samples imaged with stimulated Raman histology (SRH) can be successfully used in a typical pathology workflow including hematoxylin and eosin staining (HE), immunohistochemistry, and genome sequencing.

KRAS Mutation in Serous Borderline Tumor of the Testis: Report of a Case and Review of the Literature. [PDF]

open access: yesCase Rep Urol, 2020
Ovarian‐like epithelial tumors of the testis, including serous borderline tumors, are rare entities. We report the case of a 60‐year‐old man with a left intratesticular mass who had a radical orchidectomy. Histologically, the tumor was identical to the ovarian counterpart showing a well‐delineated cystic lesion characterized by intraluminal papillae ...

P53 and PIK3CA Mutations in KRAS/HER2 Negative Ovarian Intestinal-Type Mucinous Carcinoma Associated with Mature Teratoma. [PDF]

open access: yesCase Rep Obstet Gynecol, 2020
Primary ovarian intestinal‐type mucinous carcinomas associated with mature teratoma are rare and represent less than 3% of all primary ovarian neoplasms. The molecular profile of these tumors is still controversial. We report here the first case of mucinous ovarian tumor in which mutation of the PIK3CA and P53 genes could be demonstrated by the next ...

Increased expression of complement components in tuberous sclerosis complex and focal cortical dysplasia type 2B brain lesions

open access: yesEpilepsia, Volume 63, Issue 2, Page 364-374, February 2022., 2022
Abstract Objective Increasing evidence supports the contribution of inflammatory mechanisms to the neurological manifestations of epileptogenic developmental pathologies linked to mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway dysregulation (mTORopathies), such as tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) and focal cortical dysplasia (FCD).

Expression stromale de CD10 dans les cancers du sein: marqueur de mauvais pronostic

open access: yesThe Pan African Medical Journal, 2020

Molecular assessment of antibody‐mediated rejection in human pancreas allograft biopsies

open access: yesClinical Transplantation, Volume 34, Issue 11, November 2020., 2020
Abstract Pancreas transplant longevity is limited by immune rejection, which is diagnosed by graft biopsy using the Banff Classification. The histological criteria for antibody‐mediated rejection (AMR) are poorly reproducible and inconsistently associated with outcome.

Existe-t-il une corrélation entre la taille tumorale au scanner et les caractéristiques anatomopathologiques du cancer du rein?

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Urology, 2015
Introduction: Le stade tumoral, le grade nucléaire et le type histologique sont considérés comme les facteurs pronostiques les plus importants dans le carcinome à cellules rénales de sorte qu’il est devenu de plus en plus important d’obtenir les ...
