Outcome after liver resection for primary and recurrent intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma
The outcomes of liver resection in patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma in a tertiary referral centre were evaluated. Patients with recurrent intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma may benefit from repeat surgery with curative intent. Surgery for recurrent iCCA may be beneficial.

Prognostic impact of Ki‐67 proliferative index in resectable pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma
The aim of this retrospective cohort study was to analyse the role of Ki‐67 as a prognostic factor in a cohort of patients with resected pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. Ki‐67 index was identified as an independent predictor of poor disease‐specific and disease‐free survival.

Multicentre study of surgical referral and outcomes of patients with benign colorectal lesions
This multicentre cohort study found that the majority of benign colorectal lesions referred for bowel resection in the Netherlands were classified as complex. Trypanosomosis, a globally occurring parasitic disease, poses as a major obstacle to livestock production in tropical and subtropical regions resulting in tangible economic losses. In Latin America including Venezuela, trypanosomosis of ruminants is mainly caused by Trypanosoma vivax.

AbstractThe authors present the high-resolution CT findings of a patient with diffuse pulmonary hemorrhage due to leptospirosis. The main finding consisted of extensive ground-glass opacities superimposed on mild interlobular septal thickening, resulting in the appearance termed “crazy-paving”.
