Multi-Parameter Experimental Research on the Expansion Force Affecting Lime-Sand Piles under Preloading Pressure

open access: yesBuildings
Aiming at the problems that it is difficult to control the expansion force of lime-sand pile in the foundation correcting and how the upper existing structural pressure affects the expansion force of lime-sand pile, this paper adopts a new type of lime ...

Notable Impact of Paleotectonic Stress on Gold Mineralisation in the West Qinling Orogen

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
By applying fuzzy clustering and multiple inverse methods, we systematically processed the data of vein and fault slip in this ore deposit to reveal the transition of orogenic geological environment and paleotectonic stress field. Our research results show two different stress states: the northwest–southeast extensional stress field and the northeast ...

Characteristics of Gravity Flow Deposits in the Benin Basin (Benin) and Implications for Oil and Gas Exploration

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the underexplored Benin Basin features a narrow shelf and steep slope, which promoted the development of multi‐phase, stacked channel‐lobe complexes. These gravity flow deposits, further enhanced by bottom current reworking, reveal a significant undiscovered Upper Cretaceous stratigraphic play with considerable petroleum ...

Petrogenesis and Tectonic Setting of Late Mesozoic Felsic Magmatic Rocks in the Wangmushan Mining District, Northern Fujian, South China

open access: yesGeological Journal, EarlyView.
The rhyolitic ignimbrite and K‐feldspar granite porphyry from the Wangmushan mining district, northern Fujian yield ages of 173.8 ± 0.8 and 102.6 ± 0.4 Ma, respectively. Geochemical data, zircon trace elements, whole‐rock Sr–Nd–Pb isotope data, and zircon Hf isotopic compositions indicate that the rhyolitic ignimbrite originated from partial remelting ...

Genome‐wide identification of the bZIP transcription factor family in sainfoin (Onobrychis viciifolia Scop.) and expression profiles in response to aluminum stress

open access: yesGrassland Research, EarlyView.
Sainfoin is an important forage legume with potential for cultivation in stressful environments, but its molecular response to aluminum toxicity remains unclear. This study identified 236 basic leucine zipper (bZIP) transcription factor genes in sainfoin and analyzed their evolutionary features and regulatory potential.

Comparison of Armillary Sphere in Ancient China and Western World

open access: yesEngineering Proceedings
Armillary spheres were developed in the East and the West for a long time. They independently developed various functions for astronomy. In this article, we discuss the differences in mechanical structures, appearance, and functions between the armillary

Artificial intelligence models Traditional Chinese Medicine principles to integrate with biomedicine

open access: yesiMeta, EarlyView.
Using 26,339 model‐eligible Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula records, we trained an autoencoder following TCM's compression–expansion logic to learn the TCM embedding space (TCM‐ES), quantifying symptom‐pattern–formula mappings. TCM‐ES aligns with conventional TCM principles not used in training.
