ABSTRACT Background Temperature‐controlled radiofrequency (TCRF) ablation of the posterior nasal nerve has been shown to improve chronic rhinitis (CR) symptoms and quality of life (QoL). This study assesses the durability of TCRF's effectiveness and safety 3 years post‐procedure in patients with perennial allergic CR and nonallergic CR.

An optimized perfusate for enhanced rat ex vivo lung perfusion and lung transplant models
We explored a low‐cost and efficient perfusate composition for use in rat ex vivo lung perfusion (EVLP) and lung transplant models. This perfusate demonstrates better biocompatibility, likely due to a reduction in immune responses associated with high doses of xenogenic proteins, resulting in less lung injury posttransplantation.

Diosgenin ameliorates silica‐induced tuberculosis in rats
Silicosis increases susceptibility to tuberculosis due to impaired macrophage function and oxidative stress.
