Amyloid‐β peptide induces early oligodendrocyte differentiation and dorsal myelination in the zebrafish larvae spinal cord. Pan‐PKC inhibitor Gö6983 restores the aforementioned alterations in oligodendrocytes and myelin. ABSTRACT Soluble forms of amyloid‐β (Aβ) peptide have been proposed as candidates to induce oligodendrocyte (OL) and myelin ...

ABSTRACT Individual protoplasmic astrocytes have very complex and diverse spongiform shapes. The morphological diversity of astrocytes is determined by the structural and functional interactions of the astrocyte with its microenvironment. When faced with pathological conditions, astrocytes reorganize their morphology.

Abstract Background Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) produces lung ventilation images via a thoracic electrode belt. Robust electrode design and material, providing low electrode skin contact impedance (SCI), is needed in veterinary medicine. The aim of this study was to compare three EIT electrode designs and materials.

Proteomic Learning of Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) Receptor-Mediated Anesthesia [PDF]
Anesthetics are crucial in surgical procedures and therapeutic interventions, but they come with side effects and varying levels of effectiveness, calling for novel anesthetic agents that offer more precise and controllable effects. Targeting Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors, the primary inhibitory receptors in the central nervous system, could

Small variations in surgical techniques could have a significant impact on a global scale, for example, in postoperative complications. In the present study we aimed to observe and audit every single step used during first time CS.
