Exposure to occupational inhalants and the risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis: A systematic review and meta‐analysis

open access: yesArthritis &Rheumatology, Accepted Article.
Objective: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by joint pain, swelling, and stiffness. While smoking is a well‐established risk factor for RA, the role of occupational inhalants in RA development is less well recognized.

HMGB3 promotes brain metastasis of lung adenocarcinoma by recruiting SSBP1 for nuclear translocation to remodel mitochondrial metabolism

open access: yesCancer Communications, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Brain metastasis, a leading cause of death in patients with lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), arises from tumor cells adapting to the unique microenvironment of the brain through metabolic remodeling regulated by key oncogenes. Here, we aimed to determine the role of high mobility group protein box 3 (HMGB3) in regulating tumor cell ...

Nephroprotective Potential of Olea europaea Leaf Extract Against Combined Noise and Toluene‐Induced Oxidative and Histopathological Renal Injuries in Wistar Rats

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Noise and toluene are environmental stressors that induce oxidative stress and inflammation, contributing to renal dysfunction. This study evaluated the protective effects of Olea europaea leaf extract (OeLE; 40 mg/kg/day) against combined noise‐ and toluene‐induced nephrotoxicity in Wistar rats.

Sc(III) Complexes of Pyclen Derivative Ligands as Probes for Hypoxia: Synthesis, Chemical Characterization, 44Sc‐Radiolabeling, and Preclinical Assessment

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Hypoxia‐sensitive nitroimidazole‐functionalized pyclen derivatives were successfully synthesized and radiolabeled with 44Sc(III), affording stable and inert scandium complexes. Remarkable Sc(III)‐binding capabilities of the PC2A‐mono(amide) platform enabled excellent radiolabeling performance, with ≥92–99% yields and ≥99% radiochemical purity. MicroPET
