Cross‐Scale Hierarchical Targeted Delivery System Based on Small‐Scale Magnetic Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This article reviews a cross‐scale hierarchical targeted delivery system that integrates magnetic continuum robots and magnetic microrobots. By combining rapid long‐range navigation with precise microscale targeting, the system overcomes key limitations of single‐scale approaches.

3D‐Nanoprinted Fluidically Steerable Soft Robotic Microcatheters

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work introduces a ∼3‐French (1 mm‐in‐diameter) soft robotic microcatheter fabricated by means of two‐photon direct laser writing. The 3D‐printed microcatheter enables remote, on‐demand steering via microfluidic actuation for guidewire‐free navigation of vascular networks as well as microcatheter‐mediated delivery of fluidic payloads to target ...

Integrated Single‐Cell and Spatial Analysis Reveals a Metabolic‐Immune Axis Driving Aortic Dissection

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐cell and spatial profiling of 110 human thoracic aortic samples reveals a stromal–immune circuit driving aortic dissection. An elastin‐rich fibroblast subset is depleted with age and markedly reduced in disease, weakening aortic wall integrity.

Sex differences in aneurysm morphologies and clinical outcomes in ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysms: a retrospective study

open access: yesBMJ Open, 2016
Objectives Ruptured anterior communicating artery (ACoA) aneurysms occur more frequently in men. The purpose of the study was to investigate sex difference in aneurysm morphologies and clinical outcomes in patients with ruptured ACoA aneurysms.Setting A ...

Preoperative Aortic Calcification Volume Predicts Postoperative Complications in Nonpancreatic Cancer Patients Undergoing Pancreaticoduodenectomy

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Postoperative complications following pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) remain high, particularly in patients with soft pancreatic texture. Abdominal aortic calcification volume (AACV), a surrogate marker of systemic arteriosclerosis, has been associated with increased surgical risk in lower gastrointestinal procedures ...

Safety and efficacy of stent-assisted coiling ruptured intracranial aneurysms: A single-center experience

open access: yesTzu Chi Medical Journal
Objectives: Endovascular coiling is a minimally invasive method to manage intracranial aneurysms. However, patients who undergo stent-assisted coiling (SAC) for acutely ruptured intracranial aneurysms need dual antiplatelet treatment.
