Solid variant aneurysmal bone cyst in the distal fibular metaphysis: radiologic and pathologic challenges to diagnosis

open access: yesRadiology Case Reports, 2017
Solid variant aneurysmal bone cyst is a rare benign bone lesion, representing a small fraction of all aneurysmal bone cysts. The imaging appearance and histologic features may overlap with other benign and malignant neoplasms, posing a diagnostic dilemma

Venous aneurysms [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Vascular Surgery, 1988
We report the case of a large venous aneurysm of a 22-year-old white man. After evaluation and diagnosis, the aneurysm was resected without difficulty. Cause, diagnosis, treatment, and possible complications are discussed.

Delayed destabilization and rupture of a giant anterior circulation aneurysm following flow-diverter placement: A case report

open access: yesBrain Circulation
Flow-diverting stents have been increasingly utilized for the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, especially when there are factors that go against coil embolization, such as wide neck and large aneurysm size. However, its use does not guarantee success,

Fluid-structure interaction modeling of aneurysmal arteries under steady-state and pulsatile blood flow: a stability analysis

open access: yesComputer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering, 2018
Tortuous aneurysmal arteries are often associated with a higher risk of rupture but the mechanism remains unclear. The goal of this study was to analyze the buckling and post-buckling behaviors of aneurysmal arteries under pulsatile flow.

Magnetic Field Driven Microrobot Based on Hydrogels

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Hydrogel‐based magnetic microrobots synergize remote magnetic control with the biocompatibility of flexible hydrogels, emerging as promising tools for minimally invasive biomedicine. This enables remotely controllable, untethered navigation within complex biological microenvironments.

CDK4/6 Inhibition Induces CD8+ T Cell Antitumor Immunity via MIF‐Induced Functional Orchestration of Tumor‐Associated Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.
