Ultrastructure of aneurysmal bone cyst
Cancer, 1977The ultrastructure of 5 cases of primary aneurysmal bone cysts is described. The most frequent cells found are fibroblasts containing varying amounts of glycogen. Primitive mesenchymal cells in different stages of differentiation are seen. The foci of osteoid and bone originate through metaplastic changes of the spindle cell stroma.

Aneurysmal bone cyst of the temporal bone
Child's Nervous System, 2001Aneurysmal bone cysts are uncommon lesions of the bone, which are benign and non-neoplastic in nature. They are commonly seen in the long bones. Their occurrence in the calvarium is rare. We report the occurrence of an aneurysmal bone cyst in the temporal bone of a young boy, which eroded the posterior part of the orbit to cause proptosis.

Aneurysmal bone cyst of the spine
Acta Neurochirurgica, 1977Long term follow up of three patients with aneurysmal bone cysts has allowed us to draw attention to features which facilitate diagnosis and determine adequate treatment. The lesion occurs usually under the age of twenty with a slight female predominance. Treatment consists in complete local excision.

Aneurysmal bone cysts of the jaws
British Journal of Oral Surgery, 1979Two cases of aneurysmal bone cyst are recorded. In the first there is clinical evidence to suggest that the lesion had been present for an unusually long period while incomplete clinical records of the other also indicate an unusual history. Histologically both lesions show a paucity of giant cells.
