Revista ftSporotrichosis, common in felines, is caused by the fungus Sporothrix spp, transmitted mainly by bites and scratches. The standard treatment is itraconazole, but in refractory cases, injectable Amphotericin B is used in combination to enhance efficacy by altering the cell membrane of the fungus.

Brazilian Journal of Health and Pharmacy, 2019Leishmaniasis represents a group of diseases with a great clinical and epidemiological diversity, it is classified in two main forms: cutaneous and visceral. A prevalence of 12 million cases is estimated worldwide and this number continues to increase, with 1.5 to 2 million new cases per year, especially in tropical and subtropical areas.
