The diagnostic potentials of pancreatic angiography are discussed on the basis of four illustrative cases and a review of the pertinent literature. It is concluded that selective visceral angiography properly applied is of great value in diagnosing carcinoma of the pancreas and in determining resectability of pancreatic tumors.

Amipaque (metrizamide) has proved considerably less uncomfortable than Urografin 310 M in 42 patients submitted to selective or subselective external carotid, subclavian, and spinal angiography. Two out of five patients undergoing selective spinal arteriography developed transient neurological complications during the injection of Urografin 310 M.

Clinical Radiology, 1967Two cases of a rare tumour, haemangiopericytoma are presented, both of which were examined by angiography. In 1 case the unusual site of origin (the wall of the descending thoracic aorta) is noted, and the lack of angiographic vascularity is emphasised.
