Southern Medical Journal, 1978The diagnosis of angioid streaks on fundus examination allows the examiner to focus on a limited number of commonly associated conditions, such as pseudoxanthoma elasticum, Paget's disease, and sickle cell disease. There have been sporadic reports of pituitary tumors associated with angioid streaks.
