Angle of Arrival Estimation for Terahertz-enabled Space Information Networks
Space information networks (SINs) empowered by Terahertz (THz) frequencies are expected to play a vital role in next-generation wireless space networks due to the unique transmission characteristics and coverage extension capabilities of SINs, owing to their high altitudes. Also, utilizing THz frequencies allows the usage of more bandwidth.

Approximate maximum likelihood estimation of two closely spaced sources [PDF]
The performance of the majority of high resolution algorithms designed for either spectral analysis or Direction-of-Arrival (DoA) estimation drastically degrade when the amplitude sources are highly correlated or when the number of available snapshots is

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...

Direction of Arrival Estimation in Low-Grazing Angle: A Partial Spatial-Differencing Approach
This paper addresses a partial spatial-differencing (PSD) approach for the direction of arrival estimation in a low-grazing angle (LGA) condition. By dividing the sample covariance matrix into several column subvectors, we first form the corresponding ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Angle-of-arrival estimation in presence of multipath
The Thomson method of multiple-windows is applied to the problem of angle-of-arrival (AOA) estimation at low grazing angles, and in the presence of combined specular and diffuse multipath. Experimental data are used, collected by means of a 32 element sampled aperture antenna system operating at X band.
