Study of Condylar Asymmetry in Angle Class III Malocclusion With Mandibular Deviation

Journal of Craniofacial Surgery, 2015
Differences in the condylar between both sides in class III cases with mandibular deviated are important for the diagnosis, treatment, and retention in this kind of patient. To detect the subtle differences, we analyzed the size, shape, and bone density with three-dimensional reconstructed technology. The symmetry group and the asymmetry group each with

Prosthodontic treatment of an Angle III Class malocclusion: A case report.

Quintessence international (Berlin, Germany : 1985)
Patients with an Angle Class III malocclusion are generally treated by orthodontics with or without orthognathic surgery. [Analysis of treatment templates of Angle's Class III malocclusion patients].

Hua xi kou qiang yi xue za zhi = Huaxi kouqiang yixue zazhi = West China journal of stomatology, 2015
To analyze the morphological characters of Angle's Class III malocclusion patients and the relationship between characters and treatment options.A total of 472 Class III patients were collected during 1997-2000. The standardized coordinates' values of the patients were obtained by Procrustes superimposition (PS).

Classification of Angle Class III malocclusion and its treatment modalities.

The International journal of adult orthodontics and orthognathic surgery, 2001
To obtain the best results in the treatment of patients with Angle Class III malocclusion, the etiologies of the malocclusion should first be clarified, and then an appropriate treatment modality should be decided. Angle Class III malocclusions in 120 subjects who had orthognathic surgery were analyzed with cephalometrics and facial photos and ...

Treatment effects of reverse-headgear in correction of Angle Class III malocclusion

2010
Objective To show the skeletal and dental changes contributing to the correction of Class Ⅲmalocclusion with reverse

Finite element morphometry of the midfacial complex in subjects with Angle's Class III malocclusions.

Journal of craniofacial genetics and developmental biology, 1997
The purpose of this study was to determine whether the morphology of the midface differed in normal (Class I) and midfacially-retrognathic (Class III) prepubertal subjects, and to localize differences morphometrically. Lateral cephalographs of 133 European-American children between 5-11 years of age were traced and average geometries, scaled to an ...
