Angle-of-Arrival Measurement System Using Double RF Modulation Technique
A new technique for determining the angle of arrival (AoA) of an RF signal is presented. It is based on a cascaded modulator structure, where continuous wave light from an optical source is modulated by an incoming RF signal twice.

Localization using Angle-of-Arrival (AoA) Triangulation
Indoor localization is a long-standing challenge in mobile computing, with significant implications for enabling location-aware and intelligent applications within smart environments such as homes, offices, and retail spaces. As AI assistants such as Amazon Alexa and Google Nest become increasingly pervasive, microphone-equipped devices are emerging as

A constrained least-squares (CLS) 3D source localization method is presented for acoustic sensor networks with sensor position errors. The proposed approach uses angles of arrivals (AOAs) and gain ratios of arrival (GROAs) measured simultaneously at each

Event Weighted Tests for Detecting Periodicity in Photon Arrival Times
This paper treats the problem of detecting periodicity in a sequence of photon arrival times, which occurs, for example, in attempting to detect gamma-ray pulsars. A particular focus is on how auxiliary information, typically source intensity, background

Innovating Aircraft Repair Processes: The Role of Digitalization in Sustainability
This research explores how digitalization—by storing detailed non‐destructive testing data in structured DICONDE databases and creating a standard data model of the component—innovates aviation maintenance and repair processes. Coupled with a developed state‐based simulation model, it enables data‐driven, sustainable repair strategies that reduce waste,

Effects of spacecraft reflections on RF interferometer position location accuracy [PDF]
This report describes one of three study tasks related to the application of an RF interferometer aboard a low-orbiting spacecraft to determine the location of ground-based transmitters.

Experimental confirmation of long-memory correlations in star-wander data
In this letter we have analyzed the temporal correlations of the angle-of-arrival fluctuations of stellar images. Experimentally measured data were carefully examined by implementing multifractal detrended fluctuation analysis.
