Angular Momentum Entanglement Mediated By General Relativistic Frame Dragging [PDF]

open access: yesQuantum
Current proposals to probe the quantum nature of gravity in the low-energy regime predominantly focus on the Newtonian interaction term. In this work, we present a theoretical exploration of gravitationally mediated entanglement arising from a genuinely ...

Investigating fusion dynamics at high angular momentum via fission cross sections

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
A quantitative understanding of fusion dynamics at high angular momentum is attempted employing experimental fission cross sections as a probe and carrying out a simultaneous description of the fusion and fission cross sections at above barrier energies.

Orbital angular momentum of spin electromagnetic wave

open access: yesResults in Physics
Spin angular momentum (SAM) and Orbital angular momentum (OAM) are two distinct forms of electromagnetic angular momentum (AM). Generally, circularly-polarized (CP) wave is deemed as the typical form of spin wave, which carries SAM only.

Greybody factor for an electrically charged regular-de Sitter black holes in d-dimensions

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We investigate the propagation of scalar fields in the gravitational background of higher-dimensional, electrically charged, regular de Sitter black holes.

Predominant electronic order parameter for structural chirality: Role of spinless electronic toroidal multipoles in Te and Se

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
We discuss predominant order parameters for structural chirality and demonstrate that time-reversal-even axial quadrupole plays a key role in stabilizing a chiral structure.

Angular--Momentum--Resolved Aharonov--Bohm Coupling Energy

open access: yes
The Aharonov--Bohm (AB) effect is conventionally interpreted as a phase shift acquired by charged particles encircling a flux, with no fields acting locally along their paths. Here we show that a confined Dirac electron exhibits a distinct AB \emph{coupling energy} arising from a \emph{local current--potential interaction}, whose form depends on the ...

Spin–Orbit Coupling of the Ellipsoidal Secondary in a Binary Asteroid System

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal
In our solar system, spin–orbit coupling is a common phenomenon in binary asteroid systems, where the mutual orbits are no longer invariant due to exchange of angular momentum between translation and rotation.

Collisions and dynamics of particles with magnetic dipole moment and electric charge near magnetized rotating Kerr black holes

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
Analysis of test magnetized and charged particles around black holes immersed in external magnetic fields may help to explain the observed astrophysical phenomena related to black holes, such as the acceleration of particles up to high energies.

Angular momentum coupling in heavy-ion transfer reactions

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1974
Abstract A general expansion of the distorted wave transition amplitude for heavy-ion transfer reactions into terms with definite recoil orbital angular momentum transfer is given and discussed. It is shown that recoil effects tend to be enhanced when the surface localization of the reaction is not favoured by kinematical conditions.
